In the dictionary tension is described as; applied force to something which tends to stretch. This made me think that anything could be described as tension. To me when I thought of tension. I thought of a rubber band with to objects in it pulled back.

 But then It made me think of how balloons have helium in it and the helium makes it stick to other objects. so, I thought it would be cool to take a picture of a balloons stuck to other objects. But then I remembered that if you rubbed hair and a balloon together it would cause the balloon to stick to the hair. Which would cause tension between the hair and the balloon. Which would be a great idea for the photo word of tension.

When planning for this photo shoot I had to think of how I was going to show the hair sticking to the balloon. So first I got four different balloons; and I got my model so I should their hair sticking to the balloon. As I was shooting this photo I made the model rub the balloons in their hair so when they pulled the balloons outwards you would be able to see their hair sticking to the balloon. I got different shots I took photos up close and then I took photos backed up so you could see the whole effect of the hair sticking to the balloon.

When I was editing this photo. I was thinking how I wanted to make this photo look its best. I darkened the hair of the person and then made the balloons a little brighter so then you would be able to see the hair sticking to the balloon. This made it easy for the viewer to see the hair sticking to the balloon.
