Home can be described as a place where you feel happy and safe. Many think home as a house. Because it’s a safe place for many people. In that house are rooms. Each room could be a different place for each person. Like your bedroom this place can mean many things to many people. To some people it’s just where you sleep, to others it’s a place where you can go to be alone and be by yourself. This can be used in other objects. Such as music when I thought of the word home I quickly thought music. Because just like a room in a house. Music could be that room where you just escape to. Just like as many people think a house can be a safe place, music can also be that safe place to some people. To many people a certain artist or song could be a very special place to go. Some people in this world feel unheard, and some just don’t have a good place to go to. But the music whenever they listen to music they feel heard in the lyrics. Some when they listen to music feel like there in another world; and this world is a safe place just like a house.

      When I was think of which way to capture this word; I thought of maybe a girl sitting listening to music, or A music sheet filled with notes, or just a picture of music playing. So, I went with just taking as picture of music playing. Because I wanted to focus on the music. I had to think of how I was going to show music playing. I thought maybe a radio, record player or just of the phone. I went with phone because people carry their phones on them 24/7 so it would be easier for a person to go in to that safe place right away.

       While I was shooting I just took pictures of the music playing and the different songs coming on. Because each song could mean something different. So, I took multiple shoots of the music so. when I went to edit this photo. I made a collage with the photos to represent the verity and the different times of music. Music is that home to people. But there are many different types of homes to others. It just depends on what makes you happy and what you call your home.
